I remember Vera well when I knew her in the early 50's! She was always a smiling and supportive presence with young and old alike at St. John’s Congregational Church, Thornton Heath. Her calmness and confidence made her comfortable to be with. Together with Jimmy their great sense of fun made them much loved members of St.John's. A Service of Thanksgiving will be an apt tribute to a lovely lady.
